Tongtai’s range of Horizontal Lathes starts with the Q5  – low cost, compact, gang type CNC lathe with a bar capacity of 26 mm and a 4″ chuck.

The extensive range continues with the TNL series with it’s vertical type machine bed for ease of chip removal, the TA series with sub spindle and driven tools, and the large size TNL 130 / 160 series with AL slant bed.

At the top of the Tongtai range of  Multi-Tasking Turning Centres, the TMT2000-T3Y2 multi-tasking, multi-axis turning centre can produce parts in one operation reducing set up times and labour costs whilst improving accuracies and cutting times.

These machines have outstanding rigidity – the TB series and the TD series are the new multi tasking turning centres with single power turret as standard equipped with 12 tool stations and linear Y axis to process milling functions. In addition, depending on the customer’s requirements, the 16 tool stations turret and sub-spindle is also available for more complex machining process.

The TMT2000-T3Y2 multi axis turning centre is available in many configurations including twin spindles with through hole diameter 76mm, 3 turrets, with Y axis, powered tools, turning diameters of up to 720mm and a turning length of 600mm.

All available with automatic bar feeder or robot arm.
